Apple Plans ‘Exciting iTunes Announcement’ for 16th November
November 15, 2010 | Andy Boxall

If you’ve visited the iTunes home page today, then you’ll have been greeted by a banner telling you that ‘Tomorrow is just another day. That you’ll never forget’, right in the spot where you usually see an advert for whatever artist is hot at that moment.
Four clocks below show the time when the ‘exciting announcement from iTunes’ will come, 7am in California, 10am in New York, 3pm in London and midnight in Tokyo, indicating that what’s announced will be an international product, although this banner is only seen on the US iTunes page.
While we’re hoping for iOS 4.2 tomorrow, we can’t imagine this refers to the firmware update, and is more likely to be music or movie related. Shame. The majority of speculation revolves around the rumored subscription-based music streaming service, plus it’s also interesting to note the time when all will be revealed – a far more New York-friendly hour, indicating a concern for the financial markets perhaps?
We’ll keep you updated.

it's seen on the UK page aswell
even on the swiss page
Beatles?
It's the Beatles, it's available on the iTunes store now, not the greatest surprise as far as I am concerned. If I wanted the Beatles in my iTunes I could have just bought the CD and ripped it in.
Wow, what a disaster Apple release! Everybody just got very disipointed

It took a short while because I was overcome with all the post-announcement excitement.
It’s already hit the news that The Beatles will now be available in iTunes
