Manomio’s Amiga for iOS App Making Progress
December 8, 2010 | Andy Boxall

It’s hard to believe it was back in February when we first heard Manomio would be releasing an Amiga emulator for iOS, but work on Amiga Classics has obviously been progressing, as the following snippet appeared on the company’s Twitter account this morning:
Shared the first early alpha build of Amiga for iOS today with first outsider. Expect more info as we start moving!
All we can say is: lucky outsider! It’s no secret we’re huge Amiga fans here at iPhonefreak, and if Amiga Classics has even half of the love, care and attention to detail lavished on their C64 app, we’ll be happy people!
A further tweet suggested Amiga Classics for the iPhone and iPad wouldn’t be out until 2011, however in the meantime we can expect some new games, audio improvements and most interestingly, TV-out and iPad support for C64.
Until we know more, you can enjoy this Manomio video from earlier in the year, showing IK+ and Turrican II running on the iPhone.
