SkyFire for iPad Out Now
December 23, 2010 | Andy Boxall

SkyFire recently let everyone know that their Flash video supporting browser was on its way to the iPad, just as soon as Apple approved it for sale. This simply had to happen today, as everything App Store related goes on hold until the 29th December from tomorrow; and SkyFire wouldn’t want to miss the Christmas rush.
Sure enough, you can now buy SkyFire for your iPad and enjoy the majority of Flash video content on the Internet. As we saw in the preview video, this version is slightly different from its iPhone-based counterpart, introducing the Skybar toolbar, a universal ‘like’ button, Facebook and Twitter integration and Fireplace, which gathers social networking links into one place.
We noted at the time that SkyFire had kept quiet on the price of the iPad app and although we hoped it would be the same as the iPhone version, they’ve seen fit to raise it to $4.99. As much as we think SkyFire’s a great browser, that seems a little high, however if you really, really want Flash video, then it probably sounds like good value.
Will you be getting SkyFire, or does Safari suit you fine?

I used this app for iPhone, disappointed and now for ipad sorry waste of $5
Same with Rahul, I’m disappointed with its iPhone app. Not sure if there are any changes made for the iPad version.
