Another iPad Stick Arrives, the JOYSTICK-IT
January 5, 2011 | Andy Boxall

Following on from the Fling iPad joystick we took a look at the other day, we’ve now got word of another hardware stick for Apple’s tablet, this time from ThinkGeek.com. It’s called the JOYSTICK-IT and it works along the same lines, as it attaches to the screen with a suction cup and uses conductive foam to mimic the movement of your finger.
Where it differs is in construction and design. Instead of the space-age style of the Fling, this is a more traditional joystick made from a solid piece of aluminium, with just the right amount of height to make using it ideal for thumb control.
The ThinkGeek page claims the JOYSTICK-IT works with thousands of games and will operate on any tablet computer, not just the iPad. The price and release date are identical to the Fling, at $24.95 and the 31st January. You can register interest on their site.
We would like to test out both, as there is likely to be a subtle difference in how they feel. What do you think? The Fling, or the JOYSTICK-IT?

This is nice. Especially made for gaming freaks.
