The latest update for Angry Birds Seasons has gone live, and it’s in honor of Valentine’s Day.  Is this the game where the birds and the pigs put aside their differences and live happily every after?  In a word: no.

The game is the same as it always has been, and there are 15 new levels to play through here, each with a romantic theme, happy music and floating red hearts!  Rovio promise a variety of new Game Center achievements and, mysteriously, an additional three levels if you ‘affirm your affection for Angry Birds’.  Shouldn’t be too hard!

Like the previous Seasons levels, these are a considerable challenge right from the start, and anyone who hasn’t played through the regular Angry Birds game would be advised to do so.

The Valentine’s update is free for existing Seasons owners, or if you’re new to this spin-off, it’ll cost you $0.99/£0.59.  A small price to pay for this, the Christmas and the Halloween levels.
