Monday iPhone/iPad Videos: iPad 3G Calling, Shush and Bigfoot

I’ve got an eclectic line-up of videos for you today, starting out with a clever iPad hack which turns the tablet into a functioning phone, although quite why anyone would want to do this is beyond me!  The video shows a 3G iPad running PhoneItiPad, an app providing a fullscreen version of the familiar iOS phone software, where it can make calls and send/receive SMS just like its smartphone cousin.

Of course, the app won’t be appearing inside the App Store anytime soon, but the creators say it’ll be out in the Cydia store soon.

Up next is a music video shot entirely on an iPhone and directed/starring Adam Goldberg, known to many for his roles in Dazed and Confused, Saving Private Ryan and Friends.  The song is Shush and is performed by the Goldberg Sisters.

Finally, Bigfoot has been caught on video shot using an iPhone.  Regardless of whether you think it’s real (which it certainly doesn’t appear to be) it’s surprising just how few faked ‘sighting’ videos are out there given the availability of mobile video cameras and clever video apps.
